Description

Nine round-top steel wickets, about 8 inches high and 6.3 inches wide, coated against rust. They replace bent or lost hoops in most backyard croquet sets — white, classic or a colourful arrow set that makes the course easy to follow.

A tip from the lawn: Count the wickets back into the bag at the end of every game. A hoop left in the grass is the most common reason a croquet set goes incomplete — and the hardest on a mower blade.

Quality and durability

I purchased this item to replace the antique set I had and like their durability and quality for not rusting or bending easily. I have not used them yet, but feel they will last and be sturdy for a long time.

Great price

I have needed extra wickets for a long time to expand my “croquet court”. These did not disappoint. I modified them by heating some PEX water pipes and bending the wickets then tie-wrapping them. This way we can see them easier. It works great!

Bought spares.

I have the regular ones from the croquet set, but had to sort of reinvent the game for our grandsons as they are 5 and 6, easily distracted and hitting the ball with a tall handle mallet was near impossible, they are slowly getting to know the game and holding the mallet properly. <smiling> Great game to teach patience and dexterity. We all like the extra wickets, it adds more fun to the game.
